Congratulations to ETC Alumni Class 11 for Receiving the Best Practice Excellence Award in Digital Technology Media Creation

The Department of Educational Technology and Communications, Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University, would like to congratulate Mr. Kasannop Yodkul , ETC Alumni Class 11, a Professional Level Teacher at Ban Kradoen School under the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.

He has been selected for the Best Practice Excellence Award under the project for developing, promoting, supporting, and driving digital technology-based learning management through the digital learning platform for basic education, fiscal year 2026.

His work received the Excellent Level Award in the category of Digital Technology Media Creator for the project entitled:

“The Development of the ‘Fake News Detective Academy’ Web Application to Promote AI-Era Media Literacy Skills among Grade 6 Students.”

The Fake News Detective Academy is an interactive learning object designed for Grade 6 students in Computing Science. The application promotes media literacy and AI literacy through game-based detective missions, allowing students to practice critical thinking, information verification, and decision-making through simulated real-life situations.

Key features of the application include six detective case missions, online information verification techniques, an AI assistant, individualized AI-based feedback, Thai text-to-speech support, star and XP reward systems, a leaderboard, and a teacher dashboard for monitoring student learning progress.

This achievement reflects the capability of ETC alumni in applying educational technology, digital media design, and learning innovation to support meaningful, creative, and high-quality learning in schools.
